Cookie policy
A short list, because the list genuinely is short. This site runs no ads, no ad networks, no tracking pixels and no third-party analytics. Here is everything that is set, and what we deliberately never set.

What we actually set
By default this site sets one cookie, and only if you interact with the consent banner: a first-party preference cookie that records your choice so the banner does not reappear. It contains no identifier, is not readable by any other site, and expires after twelve months.
No analytics or advertising cookies are set unless you accept them.
What we never set
- No advertising or ad-network cookies.
- No third-party tracking pixels, beacons or social pixels.
- No cross-site or cross-domain tracking cookies.
- No device or browser fingerprinting.
- No data sold, rented or shared with advertising networks.
Local storage
We use your browser's local storage for one purpose: remembering whether you chose a light or dark theme, and which order you last sorted the comparison table in. This never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.
Cookies set by providers, not by us
When you click an affiliate link and arrive at a VPN provider's site, that provider may set its own cookies, including an affiliate tracking cookie that credits the referral if you subscribe. Those cookies are governed by the provider's privacy policy and its consent regime, not by this one. We have no access to them and no control over them.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may mean your theme choice and consent answer are not remembered between visits. Most browsers also offer a built-in tracking protection mode.
